Why is the size of the firmware update different?

Q. Why is the size of the firmware update through the phone itself (Over The Air) around a few MB (at most), while Ovi Suite says the update is well over 100MB?

A. Ovi Suite is downloading (and applying) the entire firmware image (i.e. the whole OS), while the on-device software (powered by Red Bend) is clever enough to insert just the 'blocks' that have changed into the firmware already stored in the phone.
