palette extender

If you press option, you should see "I want to try" then select it. The latest version is 1.02 afaik

you need version 1.02, 1.01 does not work with 4.39.

otherwise, since it's published on handango, I think you can download it from their wap site

firmware 4.xx and you get red, orange, yellow

I think JyriK means red, orange and PINK, not yellow.

The three new colours were hidden in the 7650. Pextender only opens up these colours. To create new colours will be very difficult.

I believe you can download it from handango wap site (wap.handango.com) but anyway if you want I can email it to you. To set up an email address, well... RTFM 😉 ... or just search somewhere else on this site, I'd explain you how to do that but I don't have much time on my hands and... it's already been written

It's a "standard" PC acronym... maybe mostly used un linux world 8) that means "Read The Fine Manual" (actually there's a "slightly less polite" 😃 version where the "F" stands for something else :angel: )

😮 you don't need to be a "techy" to write "wap.handango.com" on the "open URL" menu in your wap browser

Your firmware version can be found by calling *#0000# from the standby screen (or use FXplorer by Domi), if thats what you mean. I've got 3.16 and pallette doesn't work unfortunately. 😞

re: sending apps via email. Is this freeware? I assume it is. I'll let someone else who's sure do it. Don't wanna get myself in trouble. :-? Otherwise search this site for it ashley.

I think you need version 4+ firmware to work. I have 4.39 and it gave me the same error message, but after error it gives you option to try anyway and after selecting yes it worked on my phone.
