hi guys,i jus got my 3650 n i must say its a great fone.but after comparin the pic quality usin the cam to take pics wif 7650,i m a bit disappointed.the quality is slightly bad compare to 7650.n even the video recordin pic quality is bad too.can anyone help or comment on tis?thx a lot.
3650 pic quality
They say that the the 7650 picture is better than the 3650 picture when viewed on the phone. But the 3650 picture is better when it is viewed on the computer...
i viewed the files in pc but it appears the same.but when viewed in 3650,the pics a bit bad.especially in video rec.sigh....
you can't expect high quality video recording and the pics are better quality than 7650. They might look the same on the phone but they are definately not worse.

I suggest you take a pic with the 3650 and then the same pic on the 7650.

Look on this forum - i have taken some direct comparison shots with both phones and in bad light - the 3650 is awsome!!

don get mi wrong.3650 is a gd fone.but i actually use a 7650 to take a same pic wif 3650 n the pic of 3650 is not s gd s 7650.try the video recording n u wil see the difference even more.n i m bery happi tt 3650 can have lotsa applications dl.

Quite perfect I think - I NEVER had this good quality with my 7650!!
I can't comment on video as I've not played much with the video recorder on the 7650 - plus the 7650 plays them 'full screen' on the phone but 3650 play them 'real size' so it's hard to compaire.

Hey guys, I just bought a new 3650 for the wife - it's on firmware 2.50.
Campaired to my beta 3650 on firmware 1.34 the screen colour is different.
The colours are weeker and more washed out, I understand what you are saying now about the pix looking different on the screen.
The problem is in the contrast - the contrast is 'lighter' than on my early beta 3650.
To correct this just go into settings/display/contrast/ just knock it up a bit to the darker setting and it will be restored.
I'm sure you'll see the screen now looks better!

Also Snkboy - silly question, but have you peeled of the plastic bit off the front of the camera lens, as it makes the pictures blurry if you leave it on 😉

yes many reviews have also stated that 3650's picture quality is better than 7650 which was oredi good.
i think 3650 pix quality are quite good for a built-in camera. pls be reminded that the pic are taken at 640X480 but the phone screen supports only 176X208

Is there something wrong with the 3650 screen? If the 3650 pics are really better than the 7650 pictures, then why is it that when i compared the two pictures on each phone, the 7650 is much clearer? hmm... I'm quite confused. Maybe most people are right. The 7650 picture is better when viewed on phone but the 3650 picture is better when viewed on pc! Just one question... WHY??? screen???
But I agree with you about the video recorder. The quality is really BAD!!! Does somebody know how to make the video quality much better? Coz I sure wanna find out! 😊 Sometimes you can't even figure out who's on the video because of the bad quality! The faces are quite distorted!!!

If you darken the contrast they look just as cook on 3650 in my opinion... but contrast on mine was stupidly bright at first
Hmm... Could it be since many people reports different opinions about image and video quality on 3650 and 7650 that there are significant differences between different individuals of the phones? Kind of some better, some worse? Just a thought 😉

I did see a difference in the images on the 3650 on 1.34 and 2.50 - 2.50 contrast was too high, but after adjusting that I can honestly see no difference between the 3 phones.

hmm... You guys have remembered to remove the protective plastic in front of the camera lense,right? I have seen many ppl who haven't... And, that plastic isn't as polished as the lense itself, so it gives quite a distortion....

Yeah... the plastic has been removed. Anyway, baggis' video looks fine. Maybe when the video involves a lot of movement, it cannot keep up because of the slow frame rate 😊 Maybe it was wrong of me to compare the picture and the video... 😊 Anyway, these were just my opinion 😊
