now 3g is here with great prices are a lot of you sticking to 2.5g advanced handsets or going straight to the full monty?

Still too pricey. Not worldwide. Limited number of 3g phones most of them with less features than a symbian 2.5g phone. And by the way why should we go for 3g?

Oh yeah, 3g, not for me thanks, we don't need it. GPRS is just fine and thats been around for years and only just now have they found a use for it.
3G - give it 3 years or so and they might have found a use for it that can't be done on GPRS or EDGE that would make it worth getting.

I considered getting a Three 3G phone on PAYG in UK but my road is not quite covered signal wise until the end of the month (jsut up the road is!) + its 50p/minute for a call which is ridiculous... and who am I going to call anyway? I know nobody else with one. I'm waiting for Nokias 3G because the current ones are ugly :P
MAYBE a year or two yea im about to get my 3650 in a week or two.... and also 3g i heard still has coverage problems..... and wots the point when not every1 has 1
