Phone number lookup

Athough searching for contacts by name has never been easier, I was wondering if there's away to do the opposite: Given a phone number, see if it belongs to any of the contacts on the 7650. The only solution I could come up with was to dial that number and see if it exchanges it for a name while dialing, but in that case it will have already dialed the number by the time I see the name.

Am I missing something obvious here, or is there no way to do it?

Guys, I posted this a while ago, I think it is what you need.

I don't know if anyone has seen this before, but I am going to use it:

How about an application that will search all your contact phone numbers for a particular string of numbers.

Very useful if somone asks you "Do you have my new number?", just type in the last few digits and see if it is already stored in contacts.

Even better it is only 5k in size and free from the Symbian website!!!
