This will change once networks get their acts together and offer cross country support.
It's the same problem with MMS - T-Mobile UK can not MMS to T-Mobile USA even tough it is the same network operator...
So when you send the SMS and receive the playlist, you quite a few videos to choose from. Are you charged �1.50 for each of those?

Today's mail shot was a one off.
We sent the message because we launched a new playlist - of course you were not charged for the message, you only pay when you watch the vids.
It's not a regular thing, more of a test of the system - if we send in future we will be including a de-reg option for those who would rather not have future mail shots.
We may just send an advert rather than straight into the playlist in future too.
We probably would only launch playlists once or twice a month - thou at the moment we are producing loads.

What do you think of the idea of putting up an entire movie in Oplayer?
Every friday evening it goes up and you can watch it as much as you like for the week.
The only problem I can see is that a 90 minute movie with no foward function, some people will never get to see the entire movie..
I guess I could break the video in 'chapters' so the playlist would contain the entire movie and then a folder of 8-9 chapters.
What do you think?
Or would you prefer to keep with the clips?

Full movie is not a good idea. If GPRS connection breaks down eg. because of network problems, the clip has to be started from the beginning. Chapters might work but personally I think long movies, series etc. aren't meant for today's cellphones or people using them because the attention span is not that long and GPRS costs are quite high.
This stuff is IMO the best there is for mobile:
- cartoons (2 - 8 minutes)
- news (0.5 - 7 minutes)
- short sports clips, like soccer/hockey goals and highlights (0.5 - 1 minute)
- music videos (3 - 6 minutes)
- movie trailers (0.5 - 2 minutes)
Maybe you can get a decent service up with some of that stuff, eg. BBC news...? 8)

Sure I hear what yo say about dropping the connection and gprs costs, thanks for your input.
I know myself I soon get bored looking at that tiny screen for any longer than a minute or two!
As for BBC news, not sure we would do that, thou was was thinking of doing a daily 'Strip News' with all the days headlines! 😉
We are getting pretty good viewing figures, people are currently starved of content - you do a good job of keeping them happy 😊
Oplayo need to get themselves on a few more handsets!

hi willbrady just got the jordan video and the install for the oplayo watched 2 vids but got six reverse text messegas (not to chuffed ). Anyway i installed oplayer version 2 and i cant see anyway of uninstalling it , it says permanent at the top of the screen so does that mean it cant be uninstalled .Apart from those gripes the quality is really good .
