Oh come on, let us be realistic, and let us stop being hypocrites.
For instance, why did you buy your 7650 at a high price??? You could have settled for a cheaper phone. You could have fed 1 very poor family for at least a month for that price. Did we really need this device??? It's like buying a Mercedes, or Jaguar, wherein an ordinary Corolla would have brought you places...it's still a car!!!.
"I don't agree, humans have choices. I chose to work harder to buy my 7650 so I got it."
It is what we call "Intrinsically Evil". It is not minding that your neighbor do not eat 3 times a day. While you have partys every night.
"Again a choice, you can party all night or every night because you chose it to be and you can afford it. Laziness is not an excuse for being poor"
If you think about it, almost 70% of what you have, you don't really need it. It's just the "MARKETING" that made you think you need it. Remember, what you have in your old cabinet is no longer yours. Do you really need 10 pairs of shoes? 10 pairs of jeans? 50 shirts???
Talk about love and all...care for the victims of war, Damn it, start with yourself...neighbors, city, country, region, world. You can't help them people in Iraq if you can't even help your neighbor.
"As God have said it, God helps those who help themselves. It's not up to you, it's only up to you to help yourself."
Thus, instead of talking of peace, love and war, talk of being JUST. Give a person what is due to that person. If you don't need something, don't get it. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Live right and just to the fullest.
"Agree"
Here's a quote. "Be contented with your own discontentments. Be thankful for what you have, it it's too much, give alms." Try to reflect on your own. That will truly give you some peace of mind.
