3650 and siemens sx1 both have crap key layouts. But if you say that siemens has 100x worst key layout then for me the 3650 is 100x worst in every other aspect.(and i repeat this is only me). If going to sacrifice the key layout better keep other stuff like size... And style. P800 is the best choice of course, but unfortunately not series 60...

how long can u record and how much bettr r the colours and pixels than the 3510i??? :robot:

hi sum1 help!!! plzzzz

can u get free ringtones, pics etc

sum1 plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help
thanx :bday:

Now I don't have the Siemens phone but I really really really think it would be difficult to use. This is of course personal speculation but please bear with me.
I think it will be difficult because with the 3650 people complained of having to relearn their finger pressing order; but with the Siemens phone you'll have to hold the phone in a totally different way. And instead of looking up the screen like in most phones you will have your thumbs on the top and if you have large thumbs they may even protrude over the phone's screen. Not to mention that when you want to use the joystick you have to rearrange your hands again so you can reach them; unless you have a long thumb. When it comes to playing java games I think it will be very awkward as the numerical keys are high up and also I think the SMS typing will be even harder than 3650. At least with 3650 you have a choice of either trying to type one handed or two handed; but with the Siemens you are forced to use both hands unless they have some sort of 'virtual' keyboard using the awkwardly positioned joystick.
But then maybe it might be adaptive. I mean everyone thought the 3650 would be a hell of a piece of **** to use but then after a month or so you get really used to it. I think I can type as fast as I could on my 8310 with T9 enabled before and its really quite good now. A bit of practise and you get used to it.
Anyway thats just my two cents.. And please don't flame me because its speculation.

Standard: 15sec no sound
.. then you get the upgrade from Nokia.com and you can record with sound.
.. then you get one of the many (premium) software to record unlimited (depends how big memory card u have) with sound.

As for colours and screen and so on; if the 3510i is anything like the 6100 or 6610 then I can proudly say the screensize is much bigger and the screen even though its a passive LCD is alot sharped than the 6100. 'Ghosting' is a term which is used to describe some older LCDs (like those in old laptops) where when things move (ie. Commander Keen) you can see something which resembles trails or a 'ghost' behind them.. That is a problem on 6100 but not on the 3650/7650 phones.

I hate it when new users ask us questions like these...

Yes it is 'possible' and many users have done so but its not easy. I don't think anyone sells them officially as it is illegal but then it is theoretically possible. For example if you have (somehow) a film on your PC (ie. off a VCD or one you taped off a VCR or TV) then you could re-encode it in real video 8 OR in mpeg4 (and then let the PC Suite convert to 3GP for you from mp4) and then you could watch it on your phone. Taking into account you need to have a bit more memory (ie. a larger MMC) before its possible. It isn't too difficult and if your determined to watch a movie on a bloody small screen (in comparison to a TV set) then you'll probably succeed if you try. It really isn't very hard but you need a computer less than 4 years old (my P2 400mhz can encode video so anything better than that will do)..
You can get free ringtones and pictures, and you can make them yourself. Since the phone uses standard JPEG and BITMAP images; and it uses MIDI files for ringtones (and it supports the old Nokia ringtones and also has a Nokia ringtone editor for non-polyphonic ringtones).
Free programs and such are available (freeware) and like many other platforms you will find premium software (where you have to pay) and of course you'll find pirates who will trade illegal copies at 'discounted prices'. No point denying it but don't ask me for where to get such stuff as I won't tell you.

jeff.

No reason to get all heat up seremify. 😊 He just needs help. Anyway, you can download ringing tones and wallpapers for free. Just search for it at any search engine 😊 As what seremify said, you can record with no limit but MMS can only receive videos for 10 secs 😊

About the siemens, I think it looks good. Anyway, we have our own opinion. 3650 is still very good though!

all the new fones have 32000 colors and 3650 has crappy 4096????

r there any cheap good phones cumin out soon???? wiv video
