Original browser only supports Wap pages..

Opera works properly.
But internal web browser only works with WAP pages. When visiting HTML pages it says there is no handler for HTML file, and asks me to save the page.

Naa. don't think so. My Standard browser works fine, but still the page looks like CRAP instead of opera.

Something I installed must have corrupted my browser. It really asks to save HTML pages instead of displaying. P800s of my friends are fine, only I have this problem 😞

I also have some problems with this.

Heres a test: Im using the Wap APN and not the Internet APN.
What do you guys get when clicking this Sony Ericsson Link?

My Question is, does signal affect GPRS connection? Im was in my room when I tested this. Will have to test it again somewhere with good signal.

My GPRS Wap over GPRS connection works fine with 12planet's IM.

mine works great for Web (HTML) pages (making sure i am using a Web/ISP access point - not the WAP one)- i use it on PDA friendly web sites. the two advantages are the content is already optomized (light graphics - mainly text) so saves a fortune in GPRS charges and the fact you can go full screen is excellent

Which APN are you using?
indeed the standard browser does support HTML, I even post to this forum using it.
I can also go into AAS. But I cant go into some other sites. Im still using the Wap APN. I cant get into that Ericsson Site really.
