what's new in version 1.08 :
* added a menu : network information
* in the 'file menu', it's now possible to set a picture as
an operator logo (last point of the menu); jpg and gif are
resized, bmp none.
* a 'settings menu' has been added that allows to configure
FExlp. (the settings are saved); you can set up the color
in list, the display of the full path in full screen mode
the full screen mode.
* a confirmation dialog is showed before quitting the pgm
* the restart function has a confirmation message
* it's possible to edit (in fact view) the files
(like ini...)
* the size of the files are displayed on each line and the
font is smaller to display more character.

it's a great application...
Just tested fexplorer on my N3650 (firmware 2.50). Nice software BUT there is a problem:
It does not show the file size!
In drive view it shows in a legible but small font 'ram' or 'rom' at the end of each line. This font has serifs.
In file or directory view nothing is shown at the end of the line (�hhh to be exact: there seems to be a little point or something else - at least nothing legible).
Empty lines at the screen (no file, dir or drivename) show a vertical line...
Could this be a font or string-formatting related problem??

Addendum: These little unlegible points show up only when I use the english version of fexplores on N3650 using german language and the file size is to be given in KB (instead of B). With both using english language these points cannot be seen.
Filesize is not shown in this configuration, too.

I have no 3650 to test it !! sorry, I only own a 7650 but, can you send me some screenshots of the problem ?
I will be very happy to find a solution for the 3650 users !!!
PS : the vertical line showed when a part of the screen is empty is normal, I haven't found how to solve it !!!!
PS2 : the font used for 'ram' 'rom' and the file size is the same.

I played a little with the fexplorer and foud a little problem. When I try to edit a txt file or somethin I can only write numbers in it. But no words
Is it possible to fixt hat, or is it just a bug in my version?

It's not a bug because, in fact, in this version, it's only a viewer, you can't saved modify files, thus no need to use the alphabetic or numeric keys.

* Getting back from viewing a file returns to the root of the phone (C/D/Z)
better if it returns on the file recently viewed (edited)
* Why there's nio icons for files (known/unknown)
* A french version ????

there is no icon because ... I haven't program it !!!; I must still do it ! I have prefered spend some time in functions instead of cosmetic !
a french version ... in fact, ... I'm french !!! and never released a french version because ... you (Samir) are the first one to ask me FileExplorer in french !! but now, I must think to release it !!

i'm using firmware v4.39
1) the font should be smaller?
in the left column (name) everything is ok, but in the right one...
2) when editing a file the "Please wait!" Dialog opens min 10 times at a different position... with every opened window the line wents up 1 line
3) ! when editing a file only numbers can be entered??? cant switch with "#" (long or short), not with "ABC"... *?*
-> oh i see... no editing just viewing... sorry 😊
but editing would be nice too 😉

to get back to the original op logo, just go to c:\system\apps\phone\oplogo and delete the file in this directory (there is no 'automatic' function)
for the font, I'm working on it (and for the 3650 too), I'm working on the Nk7650 version 3.16 -- I have not all the versions of the OS --
Walter, can you send me your e-mail address at [email protected] ; whenever I have corrected the font problem, I can maybe send a version to you for testing (OK ?)

As a suggestion; maybe remove the "FE" from the icon? It looks sort of "cut off" if you know what I mean?
As for that line down the side.. I'm still yet to get that on my 3650 😞
