where can i get update firmware

The user who asked was from UK.

If you want to update your firmware ring up your local NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE (NSC) and then tell them your phone model and ask them how much and where to get firmware updates.

In Sydney, Australia they cost $66 but if you have a less than 12 month old phone its FREE if you have the warranty card or receipt to prove it. Funny thing is they accept it if its also bought overseas in one of the other Nokia-countries which are in alliance (such as Singapore).

'Fleet Mobile' which is an NSC can now do the firmware upgrades.
They are in Chadwell Heath, Essex.

I'll be taking my buggy old 1.34 3650 along at the weekend!

Best 😊

Will, can give me more info on firmware upgrades in the UK?

Gonna get my 7650 upgraded at the weekend probably from 3.16 to the latest.
Does it cost anything and is it a while you wait sort of thing?
Sorry if it's been asked before mate.

Cheers
Lee

Hi.

All NSC's should be able to do 7650's

The problem with 3650 is that some stores do them instore and some send the phone away which will take about 5-10 days.

We have all been waiting for the stores to be able to them instore, which they are now begining to do.

Phone around your local NSC's and ask if they do instore updates, the ones that do should all be able to do the 7650 by now..

If your phone is within a year old I think it is, they do it for free, just tell them it keeps crashing when the memory gets full, as apparently some NSC's will ask why you want it upgrading and only do it if you can show your phone has a fault.

Just got the firmware updated on my phone in Sydney Australia.

Went to MobilfoneRepair.com in St Leonards. They can do warranty jobs, but did my phone for 44 ( AUD ) and it only took an hour.

Got the phone back and it is great to finally be off the 1.48 Firmware.
