Hey all.
i am thinking of getting a 3650, but something just hit me with the keypad.
many games use the 2/3/4/8 combination for up/down/left/right yeah? but what does the 3650 do? does it map those keys to the directional pad? or does it do nothing and so when i try to play any kind of game i am screwed?
thanks in advance
Well most of the hands that use there keys also use the joystick (directional pad on 3650). So I don't think you will have any problems, but if this is not the case I think you will have problems...
Forgive me, instead of games i wrote hands. Posting through wap with t9, you know...
It also uses the same number keys
it depends on the instructions, no problem using them with 3650
cheers for the fast reply. i might have to go borrow a friends phone and see how hard it is 😊
you get used to playing and using the keys very fast i think!

wow so rich using wap!
btw to topic creator - its bloody hard in some cases to use the dpad.. but eventually u get used to it. i'm used to it for snake but bear in mind its hard to press in (whereas alot easier on 7650's joystick) so with a bit of practise/experimenting you'll find other ways.. such as using other hand to press number 5 on the keypad. but there are a few games which stuff up on 3650 such as MIKI's world which relies on the 7650's keypad layout..
when using the 3650 u'll find that alot of things are 7650 designed.. such as the speed dial menu or the fact there are keyboard shortcuts to the menu.. nothing particularly prohibitive but just something to note.
No I am not rich. Vodafone has free wap gprs access until the end of this month (a way to promote the "LIVE!" thing) so I am making excess use of it... As long as it last 😉
*sniff*
Vodafone won't even let me subscribe to Live! in Australia because I'm on Prepaid
Oh well. No GPRS WAP yet they have MMS and GPRS for MMS.. weird eh?
the games r still using the same 2-4-6-8 keys.... u can choose to use the joystik for some games... but too much use of the joystik worries me of something.... its getting looser..
does the 3650 have tyhe south-east direction or any other diagonal direction the 7650 doesn't
i like the youstick on 3650 better than the one on 7650, cause it got slippery, and then i couldn't control shit.
Naaa, the 3650 doesn't have a south east direction, same 5 way joystick like the 7650. But i was thinkin', since it has interchangable covers, and you can take they keypad out, can't they make a "gaming-keypad" accessory? whereas we get a joystick like the 7650. (for the gamers that prefer it) It can't be that hard 😊
Good idea, no? 😃
