reformatted phone, now mmc causes probs

i reformatted my phone now i can't make it work when the MMC is installed. the phone boots properly, i can make calls but when i do other functions, it shows a system error.

HELP!!!

If you are trying to run programs from the mmc card that have installed system files to the main memory of the phone (like psiloc's programs) then you have to reinstall these programs in order for the system files (which were deleted with the format) to be copied again...

If you don't care about what was installed to your mmc then you should format the mmc too, and all the problems you have will be gone...

i backed up every important thing in my MMC. I can have it reformatted. but the problem is that i can't do anthing else aside from making calls when the MMC is inserted. the menu key doesn't work.. when i press any selection key "system error"" appears. I hope i didn't damage my phone and mmc (it's less than a week old)

do you guys have any other way i can reformat my MMC? i don't have a mmc card reader.

thanks!!

I don't know(and to say the truth i don't believe) if this will work. Just try to boot the phone while having pressed the pencil button. If you still can't access the menu then you are in serious trouble. You may also try to install task manager without the mmc. And after the installation completes add the mmc. And after the boot press and hold the menu key for the task manager to come. If you can do that tell up and we may able to help you format the mmc...

Usually when the phone starts in safe mode no 3rd party app that loads on start up will be loaded. Task manager, eprofiles , wildskinz are some examples of such programs that loads at least some threads not visible... Try the trick with task manager i have mentioned and you'll may be able to have access to favorites...

MEMPHISX! Thanks man! just got it working!!
-i installed taskmanager
-then turned the phone of inserted the mmc turned it on
-i press the pencil button
-entered my pincode
-pressed the pencil button again until the os loads (can't seem to make it run in safe mode, can't see any difference)
-pressed the menu.. VIOLA! i can access my menu again!! YIPEE
-reformatted my MMC

now its clean (all icons of apps in my MMC are gone) and working!

thanks dude! the solution you thought that wouldn't work, worked!! Guess that saying "there's no harm in trying" proved to be true again. Thanks again!

Well the world of computers (as well as smartphones) is based on hypothesis. Glad that i helped you solve your problem. Piece of advice buy an mmc reader, not only for situations like that... But also for faster and easier access to the mmc...
