Palm software emulator

Anyone know if there are any plans for some kind of Palm emulator in order to run palm applications on the P800?

Haven't heard anything about that and I don't think so. I believe that a series 60 ui simulator would be a better idea...

A Palm emulator would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it. They started such a project for Pocket PC once, but that never got past it's alpha-stage :-? (although I do have that emulator 😉 )

The processors are radically different, and many Palm apps were written in assembler specifically to fit the DragonBall that the Palm uses.

I reckon you would be better to email the authors of your favorite apps and ask them to port it to the P800. If enough people ask them....
