This is the high qality setting and low quality
Can anyone spot the difference? I can't
I can't see much difference; (3650 camera is better 😊 ) but if you look at the outline of the blue bag you can see its slightly blurred in low quality. If you use a program like Photographer you'll get better results I think.
lol. i'll just blame it on the crap resolution that makes it think it's a bag...but is my coat lol 😃
i've head about using like adobe photoshop or paint shop pro to touch up stuff, but is it just basically like blending in colors where it's gone wrong and manually touching up bits which are a little blurred or something like that using the programs effects or is there like a simple button which will rerender the photo into a masterpiece? after typing the second bit, it seems unlikely it's the magical button that'll do the trick 😮ops:
I can tell you one:
High -> 32kb
Normal -> 20kb
the top picture seems brighter than the other
The camera that the 3650 has is exactly the same as the one on the 7650.
The difference is in the builtin camera program.

If so, could any 3650's owner upload such software.
It may have the same camera - but it is housed differently, this means the barrel effect is minimised - the blurring at the edges is minimised and overall picture is cleaner and sharper. PLUS the software is better and the JPG compression is not as high and the colour are more 'true'.
This all adds up to a much better picture - from the same camera.
Best 😊

I have spend the last couple of days with my friend who got a job in a local NSC rescently and i have played with couple of 3650's and couple of 7650's and i can say that the pictures taken with the 3650's were better then the ones taken with the 7650 but imagine my suprise when taking videos. In most cases the videos taken with the 7650 were quite sharper then the ones taken with the 3650.

This was very well discussed on the 3650 forum. The only excuse is that Hantro was working on the 7650 hardware for the video recorder...
HI! ...
you don't need a better camera on your phone ...
you need to buy a better pc monitor 😃 , if you don't
notice the difference between hi and low quality pictures that
you posted, you need a very new better monitor on your pc or you are very blind 😃
hehe!
cya! 8)
I think you are over-reacting a bit! The difference isnt THAT obvious!
I agree,and i have an awesome monitor.
I agree,and i have an awesome monitor.
😃
I guess I need a new monitor too. Not an obvious difference
HI!...
HEHE!..
ok .. many people go and buy new monitors.. lol! 😃
because yes!.. it's obvius! 😃
You can easy see the grainess and sharper on the HQ and the
softness, less saturated and blurry on the Low Q...
so!... if nobody see that is obvius difference of image quality ...
then i don't know what it is 😮
see this test image that i attached and you tell me ... you notice?
if you notice this .. then you can see the same errors on the pictures that
nk8 is comparing above ... are tipical JPG compression artifacts.
cya! 8)
see on the pictures compared by nk8 his bag with yellow numbers label "2000" on both pics...
and the green boc with white text "Motherboard" ... on both pics..
there you can easy notice the difference...
and the grainess on the closset doors...
well...
cya! 😃
NOW IS OBVIOUS 😊
Ehhh....no it isnt! 😃
Well there is a difference in the pics you posted BUT this is by no means the same as in the first two pictures by nk8. As for the monitor...is 21inch 1280x960 and a 1024x768 17inch monitor enough for you? We are sure that there is a difference on those two pics but it isnt obvious like in your pictures.
Hey Dude,
All you need is Photographer 2.0 See the image quality that I get with 'excellent' quality setting. Its almost unbelievabe for that phone!!!!
CJ
Where was that last photo taken?

I think I'll get Photographer 2.0 and see the difference, that photo you posted seems pretty good.
Another reason why some photos might be appearing bad is the color setting on monitors. What is the color depth set in your monitor? Mine is set to 32 bit.
@fox mulder, i can definately notice differences with your attached pictures, i know the photos i included are different, it's just hard to explain but there is so little difference between them, i just need a bigger vocabulary in order to describe the differences
BTW!..
i use 21" monitor at 1280 x 1024 at 32 bits color (85hz. Refresh rate)
with GForce 4 Ti4600 ... (some times i use 1600 x 1200 or 2048 x 1536 depending on the size of the images that i am working with)
The video chip set is as important as the monitor to get a good image quality on your monitor, you can buy a huge expensive monitor but you can see crap blury shit if you don't have a good quality video chip set (Good Video Card).
I am working on Computer Graphics since 1985 (yep! watching monitors), may be that's why it's easy for me to notice the difference... sorry if nobody see this obvius difference.
Anyway... i leave this topic, it's abdurd to disscus something like this here, this is not a PC forum...

Come on, the difference is obvious only in those last b&w images. No matter what MONITOR or GRAPHIC CARD you've got, all support 32bits and high resolutions. The diffence is almost none _IN THIS SPECIAL CASE_
HIGH QUALITY settings work only under certain circumstances, well, in this case the diff betwen HIGH and LOW is very little.
Well it took me awhile too see but there is a small difference, i see more blur in the picture taken with normal quality, and like Aefox said its normal when saving JPEG files in less quality...
Nvidia isnt so famed cause of the picture quality, its avarage but like ATi got better. And the most important thing in the monitor is what kind of "tubes" are used (like Trinitron... I use a 19" Sony Trinitron monitor with Geforce3 😊).

No the video card is not so much a problem nowadays. Even with my old S3 ViRGE The quality was the same to my eyes. On new Video cards depends on the gamma you have set. And even if it was a problem then Matrox has the best quality(but you need special tools to measure the quality)...
The monitor on the other side can be also too little of importance. I use a very old and cheap 14' monitor (Likom if you know the company). And I can see the difference (with a Geforce 2 MX400 video card). But if you have an LCD monitor, then yes you will hardly see the difference (not to mention that the majority of LCD monitors can only support up to 18bit compared to 24bit color of the photos). The difference is too little to notice. After all if you want better pictures then buy a digital camera...
ok..
lets the game begin! 😃
Anybody please post a couple of new pictures, take one with low quality and same target with normal quality, dont tell us what is the hi or low one.
just put them numbers 1 and 2 to be named later...
i will guess again...
thanks! 8)
