ey guys, im kinda new to this phone, i just got it today, and ive been reading almost every post in this forum. It looks like the phone is in fact, VERY customizable 😃
i need help though, i dont have an IR or Bluetooth connection in my computer but i need to transfer all the midis, apps, games, pics etc. to my phone via internet(gprs).
Is it possible for me to just create a GPRS website and upload all my files to that site and download them using my 3650???? If so, what provider enables GPRS mobility? can i use geocities?? Sorry to be such a newbie, but i hope that someone can help me out. (i really dont want to get a blutooth connection for $20+) im sure you guys have a better way 😊
My advice is to go and buy a bluetooth adapter/dongle. The gprs costs will be higher than the hardware, not to mention that many applications like bemused (control winamp with your phone) work with it. But if you insist yes you can. I don't know which providers give web space compatible with wap just make a search and you may find but there are some other ways too like e-mail ing the file you want, or going to wap sites like http://wap.my-symbian.com and downloading the trials they have. Even aas has a wap site http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/wap/ (I am currently posting through it)...
hmm..good point! 😃 come to think of it, the cost for the GPRS will be higher. hmm...maybe a bluetooth may be worth the purcahse 😉 thanks for the help ! 😃 il think about it
see the other bluetooth topic, i bought the conceptronic usb adapter,
well i case u are considering a pcmcia card adapter (for perhaps your laptop), look for the USB adapter, u can put it in anywhere
only problem that u have to cary the cd with you to use it on school (no plug and pray, drivers and software needed)
well just burn a cd with the manufacturerer driver/apps and put nokia suit with it. 😊

Or if the place you want to use the BT adapter has access to the internet, just "carry" the link with you (or use google to find the site) where the manufacturer has the drivers for download :P
Sorry.. not being mean.. Just could not help myself *G*
