Remote s60

its good to use but its slow when typing sms and stuff.. slow to update.. and also it doesn't update the characters remaining until u stop typing..

but u should practise sms typing.. i can type damn fast after a month of practise sms's and reentering in all the phone book details.

Remote s60 is yes fast on typing sms (using bluetooth and the update was very good, irda was not so good). Unfortunately i cannot type greek and also i cannot type on the wap browser eg on the aas wap site...

It isn't possible to write a email direcly on wap with remote s60? Another appl. Could?

In my case, i'm using Bluetooth for the connection and response time is great.... check ur settings if ur using BT, because it shld be fast.

I want to use my pc keyboard and ir connect to write my email on the wap. It's possible with remote s60? With ancient pc suite for "old" nokia, there 'se a fonction for this,but this pc suite don't work with 3650,not connection avaible is error message...

If you can establish a good connection with IR, then you can use Remote S60. And using this app, whatever you can do with your phone, you can do it on your PC.

This program is (Almost) what I have been looking for..

It really wonders me why noone ever talked very much about it before :P

What does it lack then?

- To be able to copy/paste text
- Managing contacts *hehe*

Yeah I know. It is not the function of the program.. Only thing that annoys me, is the ammount of memory used by that program.. It's a greeeedy sucker :evil: 😉

I use IR~ and its slow!!! Also keys are too.. sensetive. I press DOWN it goes DOWN twice!

Where can i download this appl. ? I don't have internet with my pc,just wap on my phone. Thanks very much for last reply,on this forum,you are very cool!

I agree. This is a great app. Minor bugs though (navigation issue).

The app occupies 34KB of memory and 216KB when running in the background. Not much i guess. How much is it in your case? :-?
