Text on StandBy screen.... HELP????

16 replies · 4,143 views · Started 25 April 2003

On my standby screen I have the normal clock with date, and a picture I took myself. On top of the clock is some text saying "AT&T Wireless".

How can I change/delete that text?

Thanks!

Saw the answer... you need File explorer and you can set the operator logo here. This is discussed in the other thread.

You have a lot of free time don't you... 😉

I've got FExplorer and SeleQ, but I can not find the option to change that text!!!!

What do I look for in FExplorer???? Thanks!

Select any picture on phone, then go to 'file menu' and there should be "set as operator logo" option or something like that.

just go to the file and click options and then file and scroll down. you should see an option set operator logo.

Forgive me, but I still don't understand.

If say I wanted the text on my standby screen to say "my phone" - how would I do that?

I clicked on the 'set as operator logo' option, and it didn't prompt me for any text or anything else really....

Please help! 😞

How did you make it blank?

Blank picture, just white 😃

You pick the picture that you want to make as an operator logo (e.g, a pic you made with "My Phone" on it) and highlight it (go over it in selection, using file manager, or SeleQ or whatever you use) then go to File--> Set as operator logo. simple as that 😊

So its not text it's actually a pic! 😊 Gotcha now. What are the dimensions that it should be to display properly? Thanks so much guys!
