it's true that the c130 is a phenominal plane but i'm biased to the c17. i'm trained to fly it
(17th airlift sqn, 437th airlift wing). it can carry twice the payload of the c130 & land on the same size of runway. its also the plane they used to transport keiko the whale(aka free willy) to icelacd for it's release into the wild. it's also been air force one.
