Downloading ringtones

There's plenty of wapsites that let you do that. Search the internet. If what you want is to get all the ringtones you want for free, download them to your PC and upload them to the phone either by IRDA or BT.

I've tried downloadin them from my pc to my phone via IR but i'm not sure if i'm doing it right. do i need any programs on my phone to download them?

You shouldn't do. Make sure
1) IR is switched on, on your phone and
2) You've installed the IR software correctly on your pc (the software that comes with the adapter, or if you've built in IR, read the pc manual.)

The tone will just fall into your inbox like sms and you just open/save.

Help!! How do i send ringtones from pc via bluetooth, please explain in detail cos i'm new to this.

Ok,

1) Load the software that came with your BT adaptor onto your pc.
2) plug your BT adaptor in one of the USB ports (shouldn't matter which)
3) Open 'my bluetooth places/neighbourhood' (i.e. the software you've just loaded on.
4) download a .mid file from the web (there's loads of sites out there, i've attached one to this post save you searching 😊 )
5) Back in 'BT places' click file/send
6) select the mid file you just saved
7) The .mid file will go into your inbox like an sms/mms
Eight) open the file. The options/save
9) the file will be in the 'recorder' app
10) To set .mid files as tones use profiles

Hope this helps!! 😃
