How in the world did this happen??!

The red button doesnt work anymore.Anyone knows how to fix this or is there another way to switch it on?

Hey,
This is a very common problem with the 7650. Just use a pen or a blunt devide and press the start button for 3-4 secs, and it should start up. Check if the battery is connected properly also. I use my nails to do it when it refuses to start.

I did read a post here about opening the back cover and shrting the contact with a thin wire. Just search and you'll find it. And, why dont you register......its free!!!!

for the duration of registering, the power meter does continue to roll on you know.

yep

keep an eye on the warranty period then take it to the NSC  not a great solution, but maybe they'll have fixed it by then

I think someone posted a solution to that problem in this forum. If you make a search you'll probably find it.It seems that it's a common problem after using the 7650 for some time.
