sorry to be a pain could you please send it again and have now fixed the problem with my email account. thankyou

i have installed the doom 2 wad files. but i'm very stuck on level 2, i cant get near the red key because of a step, ive tryed now for about a week looking 4 doors switches etc, is there a jump key? please can someone help me out here!

Walk round the outside of the room where the key is, note there is an opening at the side the same height as the ledge running round the outside wall. Using this knowledge and your ablilty to run over moderate gaps you should now be able to get the keycard.

Has any one finished doom 2 on the 9210? Im stuck on level 9 the pit, just before you can get the yellow key your down in a pit, with a corridor with a switch at one end, the idea is to hit the switch run back down the corridor to a ledge which has being lowered by the switch on a timer, by the time you have reached the end of the hallway the ledge has gone back up! Is this impossible with the 9210s controls? If so can anyone help.

Isn't that warez, technically? I know you can hardly find any copies of doom in stores, but are you sure that AAS can't get trouble because of this?

ID software put DOOM and Quake out to public domain somewhere around the time when Quake 2 came out as they felt the technology wasn't going to effect their sales of newer games, and would also help other coders get started. That said the water seems murky as you can still buy DOOM/DOOM2/Final DOOM in the shops.

Afaik they just made the source code and game engine open source (supposedly the main reason for all those ports for every imaginable platform), but the graphics, levels and all ingame media are still copyrighted I thought. I suppose that's the reason why Wildpalm only distributed a port of the shareware-version, and I think even that was risky.

Actualy the doom2.wad is totaly illegal 😊
But I already took it off my server (needed the space and I don't want to do something illegal :] ) 😉
The source of doom is free, but the wad files not. 😉
