WELL i found some covers after doing some searches on the net...because the truth is i just don't have 30 bucks to buy a "official Nokia" cover...although the blue art one looks nice...but i saw these....someone tell me which one looks better!
WHICH COVER LOOKS BETTER?!
No2....note...none original covers may and WILL eventually cause problems to your phone!
No2....note...i didn't ask if they would cause problems i asked which one was better. Thank you for your unecessary input. Nevertheless the fact that the "variety" of covers offered by nokia is umm....yea....don't forget the $$$
what kind of problems can they cause?
what kind of problem will it cause to the phone??
i just got a none original cover in silver yesterday :-? thought that i will save some $$
actually the problem with non original casing is that when u accidentally drop the phone , they don't give good protection to the phone chassis, the original one of course give better protection,
but nobody want wo drop their phone right ???
so my advice is beeter to use non original casing, cause for me it's look better and has more colour and design to choose :P
ad of course cheaper :P
as for the "shock proof"
i use nokia original leather case :P
I bought a non-original cover for my "old" 7210. Silver looked good. Nokia doesn't have silver. Well the cover lasted for about a month... and it became white, the paint simply rubbed off. The knock off was so good it even came in packaging looking like a nokia box. So yeah it looks good now but in a month there are no guarantees that dragon will still look like a dragon.

yup, but i think it's a money well spent, anywae i always get bored with the "non-original" casing before it's colour faded out :P
so buy more casing , that's the benefit of "express-on cover"
btw about the wear and tear snd durabilitty issues, (HOW MUCH DID YOU BUY YOUR NON-ORIGINAL CASING?? V.S. HOW MUCH IS THE ORIGNIAL CASING???)
you will find the obvious answer if you smart enough :P
I like the 2nd (dark) one. Very nice!
hey deevonn for your nokia covers...how in the world did you get that little nokia label....it looks soo..."official" lol....anywayz...also i can't see from the picture of those two black phones..but are the backs still white? and if so...does it look ok? the whole black against white back thing?
8) I think i like the second one....hey has anybody here tried out the LED batteries? if so...could you gimme some input on how well they work compared to the originals? i kno they may not work as well..but i still want someone's personal opinion...thx~
None-original covers maybe impose more pressure on the device's circuit board and thus destroying the connectors by time .This was the No1 reason for the screen problem on the 8210.
(HOW MUCH DID YOU BUY YOUR NON-ORIGINAL CASING?? V.S. HOW MUCH IS THE ORIGNIAL CASING???)
Of course you'll save more if you buy the non-original casing but I'd rather sacrifice that coz It's very very expensive if you destroy your cellphone!!!
black and blue cover.
the blue and black is better 😊
whilst dragon covers seem to b too common but if u have to get one get the blue.
Certain (metallic?) paint in covers can also interfere with the phone antenna affecting reception, battery life, etc.. Original manufacturer covers are in all likelihood tested against for such.
i already check properly that the casing do not touch the pcb at all, (except when you deopped it 😊
so i don't think it's a problem .
and about the reception things, the changeable cover is only the front face and the battery cover, as you all know that the internal antenna is located behind those "NOKIA" label at hte back cover, so i 100 percent sure that it will not interfere with signal strenght, battery consumption, etc.
and the best thins is , using non original covers don't void your warratny, if your phone unfortunatelly spoil cause of the casing, just put back the original cover back, and bring to NPC and ask them to repair :P
(DON'T TELL THEM U USING NON ORIGINAL COVER ) 😊😊
THAT'S THE ADVANTAGE USING NOKIA CHANGEBLE COVER PHONES ;P
yea, deevonn is right everythings inside the cover and there isnt much diffrience between the original and non-original cover shape so it cant damage the phone
I still prefer the original one 8) Although they don't have much choice 😃 😃 😃
well, I've tried using both and the big difference is the FIT... non-original casings and keypads don't really fit well. hard to explain... you just have to see it for yourself 😊
about the non original casing, u must try it before you buy, cause there's a lot of non original casing out there and the quality is different, so does the price :P
so my advice, is , you must try it to check the fit of the casing to your phone:P
about the keypad , i agree, most non original keypad is uncomfortable to use, but there are also few that just as nice as the original :P
btw: i always use my original keypad with my non original casing :P
