7650 as a WebCam

oki i tried it and it is working!

programs needed:

1. Softcam ( http://www.softcam.com )
2. Remote S60
3. Nokia VideoCam ( because of no advertisement )

procedures to follow:

1. install s60 (.sis) on your phone
2. install s60 (.exe) on your pc
3. install virtual cam program (softcam)
4. connect to your phone using remote s60
5. use softcam screencapture and set to movie mode

for yahoo messenger, just start your webcam and select softcam as your camera device.

problem is... it just keep closing between remote s60 and nokia videocam so i use the camera instead

but another problem appears... it came to stand by mode...

so im just suggesting or requesting to programmers/developers is to make a simple application that is going to open and view in camera mode no need to take picture and without any stand by mode so that we can use it as a wireless webcam (bluetooth connectivity), and the size is just small for us to keep in the phone memory

or the app is already out there??? what app that could it be???

I have remote60 and the video camera works fine through BT. Well, the video quality is like shit (15 FPS) tops, but it works.

What we should have is a program that takes a pic every so many times and sends it to the computer on a certain location

Something like remote s60 does, but then only for the camera.
It would be easy to build a program on the pc then to make it use that pic as "webcam".

I just dunno how to get it to send a pic every once in a while via bluetooth without using s60.
that's pretty cool. but i just sold my N7650. Does it work with the SE P800 too?
Go to my-symbian.com the port for the P800 has been just released!

i got it working via infra red though it's pretty stupid holding the phone pointing at the IR hub if you wanna move the phone about

How about battery life? have any problem with it?it does eat a lot of batt life right?

doesnt exist some webcam program which can automaticaly transfer data via BT - mRoute and copy via FTP to website?

im trying the 7650 as the webcam and i need to know does the screen capture have to appear in the softcam window as i cant seem to get it to come out there its just in the remote60 window
