kriscg21: I already have the camcorder, but my problem is that, how can I convert the output video (*.eye) to avi or mpeg?
Is there anyone, knows how to convert it. thnx in advance!

They told me the software to convert their file format to avi would be ready in 2weeks/

also why does everyone put their e-mails here?if u want the program just send your e-mail to the developer and they will send you a copy.
Hi All

Unfortunately I don't have a working download site yet so you'd have to write me to get the software (pls. indicate Lite or Beta Pro). I already sent out tons of these to those of you who responded via e-mail to my previous posting. Because there are so many inquiries I'm kind of losing track... so PLEASE, email me if you want the software. Let's keep this section purely for questions and feedbacks?

My email is: [email protected]

Just tried the converter from .eye to .avi. Man the video looks ok on the phone but boy is it not OK on my PC. OUCH

Gary sent me the converter, but I'm not that great with dos prompts anymore. He mentioned he might have another version soon though. Any luck on getting the video and sound to sync?

Why is it not okay, Kirill? Can you be a little more specific? Have you tried the new update yet which removes a weird dithering effect? On my PC the converted video looks nearly as good as the uncomrpessed ones - given good lighting condition.

You can convert it to AVI first then to 3gp. The AVI conversion tool can be downloaded here:

Hi All

This is an announcement of our new camcorder application. As it is hard to monitor more than one forums I beg you to find more details at the Nokia 7650 forum (I will not monitor this thread actively). The following is taken straight out of my posting at the 7650 forum. Thanks!

Hi All,
I know it has been a while since I last posted about our Camcorder program. But we have not been resting... Anyway, the good news is that the program is finally HERE!

If you are merely curious, please download the user's guide at http://www.eyemail.com.cn/en/camcorder/camcorder.pdf

For those of you who haven't heard about this, the following is a brief list of key features:
- "Unlimited" recording that's only limited by available storage (not RAM).
- Sychronized audio/video capture
- Support MMC card on 3650 for more than 30 minutes of continuous recording and playback
- Visual video album
- Send via MMS, email, IrDA, and Bluetooth
- ADPCM audio recording for clear all-purpose sound

Some screen candies for you:
