LENS are SCRATCHED!

I scratced my lens at the periphery...!!!cant really see the effect on the photos..but does anybody know how can i replace them.Does anybody had the same expirience.Byt the way...the lens are very easily scratched guys!!be vey careful!

The lenses are molded directly on to the back of the fixed shell of the 3650. Your best option is to either try and buy a water damaged 3650 from eBay or such like (don't expect it to be cheap from there tho) or hope that the display versions of the 3650 come as actual 3650 shells without circuit boards (Nokia has been known to do this occasionally).

Then its just a case of disassembling your phone with a Torx6 screwdriver and replacing your back panel.

My 3650 lenses are not scratched.THE BACK TOP SIDE of the phone is scratched !3650 USERS!Are yours back top side of the phone is scratched

It would have to be a pretty major scratch on the lens cover to cause a visible effect on the photo. The quality of this camera is such that a minor scratch on the lens COVER (the actual lens is under it) should not effect the quaility of your photos.

Now there is an easier way to do this all... provided of course your lens cover is not yet scratched... get the add-on lens from Nokia... now if I can find one here in Moscow or on the web for that matter... is that sucker out yet?

Ive contacted the nokia assistance and they tod me that is not possible replace the lens only. Its necessary to replace the full back top side of the phone. The cost is 20

wonder how it fit onto the 3650? anyway how abt using those clear transparent plastic casing? usually have a plastic circle that can be peel off but of course u can keep it as it is to protect the len from scratch but not very sure if the photo qualtiy still remain the same or not.....

D@mn, you must be a privileged little kid. If you own all those toys mentioned in your signature, especially in Russia where a Canon Digital Ixus is worth a monthly salary of an average folk(3650 probably costs the same), your parents must be in the government then 😉

😃 😃 😃 ,You man,you are great.I showed your post to my parents, they laughed. No my parents are not from goverment, they have own business.I bought my NOKIA 3650 on my OWN money, for 469euros,I also had PDA Compaq Ipaq H3850,i bought it for MY OWN MONEY too,but suddenly i sold it.The laptop and Canon, are my fathers and mys devaices,we use it together.

Times might have changed since I left the motherland, but one thing remains the same, average salary in the country, even in such "upscale" and "privileged" region as Krasnodar remains to be less than $200 a month. I mean many people make much more and many people make much much less, but Im still befuddled how a 16 year old kid managed to save nearly 500 euros in a country that is in economical crisis....
But oh well... good for you

on a different note, how much are GSM cell services in Russia? Do you have to subscribe to them on a contractual basis or you just buy a certain amount of talk-time? Like if I was to travel to Russia, would I be able to by a Sim card with let say 100 minutes of talk time on it. How much would something like that cost on the average?

Krasnodar(its a town)is on the second(2th)place after MOSKOW of the economical development.Russia is not in crisis!LOL.Crisis in russia was in august 1998.Now Russia is powerfull and economical developing country, but there are a lot to do.I love Russia, because its my motherland,BUT I FEEL VERE VERY GOOD,when i am travelling around Europe.I WAS IN:Slovenia,Croatia,Germany(2times),France(2times),UAE,Chech rep,Luxemburg,Belgium,Austria(2times),on the 6april 2003,i was in ITALY,HERE I BOUGHT MY 3650.I LIKE EUROPE,it helps us Russians to relax here.Cause here in RUSSIA you can earn a lot money.

You can do both(subscribe to....and others ways too...).I pay 0.5Euro for 1mb,its GPRS(VERY EXPENSIVE)!!.But in general the cost of mobile services are not very expensive. You can vist websites of two leading Russians providers http://www.vimpelcom.com/ ,and http://www.mtsgsm.com/

Geez scratched lenz topic this is... eh. Well GPRS is NOT expensive in Russia. Vodafone Spain charged me 14 Euro a Mb when I was visiting there beginning of the month. It is $1.5 Mb here in moscow on both leading providers BeeLine and MTS. You can get it cheaper on other carriers but don't expect it to work very well.

As far as your subrscription the best way to go is buy an MTS sim card. All you need is a passport and a valid Russian Visa. The beauty is you get to chose any plan that is available to Russian resdients. Then you just make sure there is enough money in your account. If you go in the negative after 6 months your number is released back into the number pool.

As far as a Russian crisis... well it is getting better. Still tough life for most people but there are many opportunities to earn good $$$. Just make sure to throw away all the Western principles and scruples. Oh and the mean salary means nothing in this country. Official salaries are declared for company tax purposes to be very low (salaries are taxed very heavily for the employer) and the REAL salary is paid in cash unofficially.

YEA,its true about salarys in RUSSIA.FOR example:in the offciail document there is declared that some man earns 100$ a month, but in real he earns 5000$ a month and more. 😊 8) 😉
