I have 128MB MMC. I installed everything on MMC.
The phone memory decreases without installing any more application.
Last week free memory was 2750KB than I uninstalled Opera, the memory was same.
Today I checked memory again and it is 2500KB now. How come, without installing any more app. the memory goes down?
3650 Phone memory DECREASING!
have you added to your contacts perhaps - they still go onto the phone memory.
Plus some install info and ini files are still put on the phone memory even if you install the app to MMC.
Will.
yea samething happenes with me 2 days ago i had 3.3 mb free now i have 2.9 kb free i didnt install anything on the internal memory
i have the same problem too...
my phoen memorry keeps decreasing...
although i dont do anything.. it will still decrease..
at first i have about 1200.. then .. suddenly it became 850
I didn't add any contact. nothing...
even I uninstall many programs the memory still same.! is it a bug of 3650?
any idea?
even though you install the programs on the memory card, the phone still has to know where to access the program from, so therefore it has to probably install some directions or something like that on where to open the program from, thus lowering your phone memory as well... Just an educated guess anyway..
i had the same problem and i think that smartlauncher 1.02 has a bug.I uninstalled it and now i use version 1.0 .I dont have the problem any longer..
anyone check your LOGS ???
that increasing everyday ?
Is the memory decrease permanent. Try to reboot and see what if the amount of free memory increases. i.e. if it's working for several days with the memory becomeing lower and lower... this thing might have memory leaks... not an unheard of problem in the electronics/computer world.
Are you using your doris or webviewer browser..? you know they are buffering capabilities and caching the files on the internal memory..
contact nokia its always good to hear wot they have to say....

oh they answer? hmm. lucky you. tried contacting them using a mail. still no answer, but I found the answer here in AAS.. So.. my problem was solved. 😊
But if someone finds the answer to the memory leak, I would also be glad to hear about it...
