I cannot find anything good on Neo. In fact I believe Keanu is Inadiquate for this roll. He doesn't seem the guy who can do anything (ala "ta kanw ola meta tis 2" in Greek). And to say the truth he seems so... cold(Even Smith , the ex-agent/PROGRAM acts more HUMANly). Even in his relation with Trinity. (To say the truth Ghost-Trinity seems a more... sophisticated couple to me - not better though).
Morpheus is the man. More than the Man with the knowledge, and the vision (even if this vision fails him in the end). The ONE who can inspire the MANY (do not forget the words of the Oracle "the path of the One is made by the Many" (Enter the Matrix). By the way Morpheus makes a great couple with Niobe.
Now about the others? Ghost is quite cool (the quote-lover like me). Persehone is quite good (too bad she is a program though).
Link is OK but not better than Tank from the first Matrix (Not to say that Sparks is the funniest from both of them)

I disagree with you on this one Memphis.
Keanu is an atypical Hollywood star,the balance between the mystery and simplicity in his personality is what makes him perfect for the role.I think the ladies will agree with me 😉
He is an everyday person that has to bear the responsibility of saving the human kind and I think that he pulls it off quite well.
