didn't work beacause for the network operator you subscribe to, the file will have to re-named to something else.
Globe Telecom is
515_02_0.bmp
Re-name the file to this and place in the file created and this should work fine.
I believe it should be 515_2_0.bmp (not 515_02_0). At least in Greece, Vodafone works with 202_5_0 not 202_05_0.
Finally got it working.........weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Whoops....Your right. 😮ops:
Has anyone got this working with Vodafone NZ ?
Filename / Path correct, even sent dodgy old b/w operator logos through SMS to my phone, it puts them in the same place, same filenames etc, but refuses to display - I think there is a possibility that Vodafone (NZ, anyway) hardcode the operator name into the SIM card which sucks - I've talked to many reps, and not one of them a) has a clue what I'm talking about or b) can offer any suggestions. Apparently they won't custom make me a SIM card without the hardcoded name, either 😞
So, if anyone around these aways has got it working... would be keen to hear from you.
ive tried adding an operator logo and am usinf SeleQ to mange my files but after renaming my pic with the syntax required: 515_03_0.bmp, nuthin happens .. its still the same boring op logo! .. help please 😮ops:
27 ... are you sure you get correct MCC and MNC no for your service provider ... if yes ... have you restart your phone yet? .... wish you good luck... 😉
Anyone know the code for my old Genie sim? Tried the 02 (BT) one but it doesn't work!
I have copied instructions posted on page 1 of this subject which worked 100% for me, but just remember:
1. on page 1 you will find the correct provider icc id which must be exactly right otherwise it will simply never work!!
2. remember to restart the phone.
3. follow exactly the instractions (filename, directory, size etc).
it must work!
good luck 😉
if you want to put an image instead of the operator name (in the right corner, between the clock and the battery meter) you need a more complicated "trick":
- download and install eFileManager from www.psiloc.com (trial version is ok)
- now go and create some folders in the phone under C:\system\Apps ... create the folder Phone, and under this one create the folder Oplogo
you should have this folder created:
C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo
- now you can put inside this folder (with eFileManger) the pictures you want to use as "operator logos"
NOTE:
- size of these pics must be 97x25 pixel
- name of pictures must be the ICC ID of the operator, with this syntax:
XXX_YY_0.bmp (so, for example, for Vodafone Italy it will be 222_10_0.bmp and for TIM (Italy too) it will be 222_1_0.bmp
In the operator lists that Refe posted,i cant seem to find my operator,MOBIMAK,so any ideas how i can find my operator's ICC ID myself
Perhaps you can buy an operator logo via WAP (SMS). When you receive it, use SeleQ or eFileManager to see the codes of your operator 😉
Nope,i cant,thanks for the reply
greek vodafone operator logo..... 😉

To check your idd ic or MCC MNC(same thing) you need a nokia phone with Network Monitor ... go to page 11 with this format
MCC MNC
LocAreaCode
ServChannel
CellId
You will get your ICC=MCC and ID=MNC
😃

The only operator I could find was MOBI-M. Also Macedonia is country code 294. MOBI-M uses code 294_01.
Hopefully this will shed a little light on your current prob, in the worst case I guess you could upload a bunch of logos named 294_01 - 294_10 etc.. in batches of 10 or so until you find which one is correct, at least you know the country code now!!
That's cool, i just got mine to work as well. I've got my company's logo on it which i find is not to bad. 8) 8) 8)
Well, I have the operator logo issue with my 7650 as well where the logo is stored on the SIM and prevents the downloaded logo from getting displayed
The same SIM when put in my 9210 however, is able to display the downloaded logo on the 9210.
So, is the problem with Nokia and series 60 or with the operator ??? Any luck in fixing this ??
You can find all of the operator info in your Nokia 7650. If you have SeleQ program. You just open the file located in drive Z:
Z:\System\bootdata\operinfo.txt
You will see MCC, MNC, Operator Name all in this file. This version is quite new dated 23.5.2002
anyone got a good operator logo icons?
you can make you own by just recising 97x22 pixels and save as xxx_x_x.bmp according to operator id
Orange & Vodaphone install additional software that allows the SIM to supress certain menu functions, access points & other functions - including the operator logo
Does anyone has the ICC ID of TIM in Brazil
Where can i find those operator ICC ID's? Does anyone know what is Sonera's (Finland) ID?
Sonera in Finland: 244_91_0.bmp
I have DNA Filnland operator and I can't change my OP logo. I'v tried to load and black and white logo by my Sonera SIM card and it works. But My DNA SIM dont show me my logo. It is in right place and right form.
I tried use eFileManager, but my phone didn't like it. Now my memory is cleared(Fortunetely I have backup). Nithn sattuu...
use SeleQ Manager software... it have the direct option to simply select
any image from your image folder (or any folder) to convert to OpLogo.. or to wallpaper
Of course try to convert an image with the standard size for
OpLogos.. and it can be with full color..
I have my name with my own logo at full color on operator logo
display zone 😃
SeleQ File Manager is the best File Manager for Nokia 7650 go and get it
the rest of file manager sofware are crap...
DNA's oplogo *cant* be changed on current SIM cards, sorry. 😞
Radiolinja in Finland: 244_5_0.bmp and 97x25 did the job allso. And there was an option in SeleQ "use as operator logo". Strange thing that it didn't copy the picture to c:\system\phone\oplogo\ it probably uses it from C:\nokia\images\

If this is the case anyone know how to uninstall the suppression software?
I've recently heard, can't remember where now, that the logo not appearing on certain networks is not because the SIM is overidding the logo, but because the SIM for network is displaying second line text logo. It's the line that on the Nokias with profiles, that the profile name is displayed.
For example, here in Luxembourg the operator Tango, on a Nokia 62xx or 63xx displays by default on the screen at the top Tango (the graphic logo), and then also displays Tango underneath as text (the two actually look like text with the bottom one being slightly smaller). A bit stupid when using the default logo, but it means that when a user overrides the graphics logo with their own, the Tango is not lost as it is still displayed below. This is in the SIM.
What is happening on the 7650, as a lot of people are noticing, is that the graphics logo they have saved is being displayed by the phone, then a few seconds later the phone displays the second line, i.e. the text the SIM wants to display as a second line.
I can prove it's not the 7650 in my case, as no amount of filename changing etc will display a graphical logo, I only ever get the text "Tango". However, if I put in my UK Orange SIM and force the phone to connect to Tango via manual network settings, it will display the new logo I was trying to display with the Tango SIM. In fact I have travelled from the UK through France and Belgium and all the different providers came up with their logo as I, as an experiment, uploaded them all to the phone. The other provider here, LuxGSM, doesn't display a second line logo like Tango, and I can get their SIMs to display the logo correctly as well.
So to summarise, it's not truly the phone at fault, but the provider displaying a second line using a function in the SIM. Now if someone can find a way to tell the phone to ignore this command then we would all be able to display our nice logos.
i have this problem too. cannot display the logo i want .
but eversince i upgrade to ver. 4.39
the logo can be display !!!!
so happy !
