I know one guy,who had installed Mini GPS,and he has got SYS error, contact the retailer. But you shouldnt worry,IVOMIR has got MINI GPS,and all is ok with his 3650.

Nokia 3650 does not have the GPS hardware, miniGPS doesn't have anything to do with real GPS,so the answer would be no.

AIUI, the "Contact retailer" bug affected a range of PsiLOC products (especially irRemote), as there was a fault in the PsiNT.dll file, which was set as a "Recognizer" (like an autoexec.bat file on a PC), meaning when it loaded, it crashed the phone. I believe newer versions have a fixed DLL file, which no longer causes the problem.

And, it's ".SIS" (Software Installation Script (thanks Ewan :P)), not ".SYS" (System File) - two totally different file types 😉

(I know in this instance you're referring to "System error", but quite a lot of people say .SYS instead of .SIS, just pointing out the difference 😉)

Cheers

This is great! But why does it have to be operator and GPRS dependand? If i want to have the latest traffic information, then,ok but what if i just want to know where the hell i am?Can i do that with just the software installed on the phone?

Probably because the complete map information will not fit even on a 1GB MMC. I am making this assumption because the map for the entire US barely fits on a DVD for the car nav system.

On a sad note Russia is once again not included. Although we finally have a Palm based GPS navigation system developed.
