When a call originates on a land line, the phone fails to display the callers name and thumbnail from the contacts list.
If the call originates on a mobile, then it does display the contacts info, name and thumbnail.
Is it just my 2 phones, or everybody elses does the same?
Also, has anyone been able to pair the 3650 to a HBH 10? I wasn't able to and Nokia's support tell me is a compatibility problem due to profiles implementations, which HBH 10 doesn't support.
What the hell happened to backwards compatibility?
Do they know the meaning of that word in Finland?
Why the hell did I buy two of them? I should have known better. :agrue:
Try to make all numbers as default...
I have had a similar problem with my 3650. It is not constant and is not limited to only landline calls--although it is predominantly landline calls. I usually just reinput the contact number and then it works fine thereafter.
Aye. Happenes to me as well. When my father calls me from his mobile it displays that it's him but when from his home it just shows the number. However when my g/f calls me from her home or office it shows that it's her along with the thumbnail. There is only one default phone number there as well as on my father's contact entry.
Will try reinputting the number.
Hi,
this happens if you have the number more than onces in your contact list.
If you have a contact which contains this number, and a single entry (maybe imported from the SIM) the phone get confused.
Solution: Delete the entries.
Tom
I only have a handfull of contacts on my list, and NONE of them are repeated, but I still have this problem.
This phone is great, but the OS seems incredibly quirky and unstable. I have pictures that go missing, calls without contact info, missing operator logos, strange reboots, crashes and strange graphical errors.
Most all of those problems are unrepeatable, but they do happen enough to warrant me warning my friends AGAINST buying this phone. Any idea if this OS will ever become more stable, or is this the price I have to pay to have neat features on my mobile???
Hey, you are right. I have his home number under his vcard and my stepmother's vcard. Now I get it. Thanks.
