Need your help, i am rollie from the little boracay island, in the philippines.
i know its not right for me to write here, BUT I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I CAN GET HELP, i am in a desperate situation. any help would be highly appreciated... please
i have a nokia 9210 upgraded to ver 4.14 2 months ago by a nokia center in the philippines. unfortunately, i aciddentally formated the
memory card. But i installed the '"all_nokia....sis" for the memory
card' which is included in the cd together in the box when i first bought it. it has been 2 days now that i cannot send fax. (my network provider activated the mobile and data and fax) everytime i am sending a fax, i always have these 4 error messages.
WINDOW error 1.
"Server closed"
WINDOW error 2.
"Error
Lack of resources.
'you have' note only partly functioning."
WINDOW error 3.
"Application Closed
Application MsvServer
Reason code USER
Reason number 44"
WINDOW error 4.
"Messaging centre must now exit
The messaging server has closed."
please help me guys. i need the fax for my mobility, il be jumping to another remote island in a few days.

You can't use the "all_nokia....sis" from the CD, instead you must download the latest version specially for version 4.13 or higher of the firmware. You can get it from the Nokia website:

This should fix the problems you have.

Here in Malaysia when u send your phone for the upgrades they will actually give u all the new installer files on CD... but only if u request for it i guess...
How bout other countries???
Hello all
I'm new in here and I just got a second-hand 9210 phone.
I received exactly the same error message (the famous MsvServer message) and I did the Arild's suggestion, which didn't work.
I format my 9210 using shift-control-f, found my firmware by pressing *#0000#, which is v4.13 and I downloaded/installed all_nokia_data_v4.13
It still came up with MsvServer Code: 44 when I tried to send a fax.
Any suggestions?

I upgrated two communicators (my wife's and my own) a year ago from 3.54 to 4.13. As a result of that uprage I cannot send faxes on either device.
I've downloaded and installed all possible software versions from the nokia site, but it doesn't work at all.
I called my net provider and they say fax and data transfer are OK.
I called the service center and they say devices are OK.
But I cannot send faxes, I get error messages.
I formatted and reinstalled software hundred times in all possible ways on both the communicaters, no result.
Today, a year later, I was again at the service center. The looked communicators and say everything is OK.
But I still cannt send faxes...
