Hey sometimes when I'm sending a picture or accessing an option the phone will go "Oh I think I'll just shut down now." And this is with a full battery charge. What gives? This happens about 3 times a day. :roll:

Does it shut down or reboot? They all reboot once in a while. It seems to be a common problem for the phone unfortunately. Something hopefully addressed by new firmware (oh boy not that subject again, hehe)
But i am using my N3650 for 3months(FW:2.50,as usual 😉 )and there were not any reboots.
I have the same issue. The 3650 just shuts off on it own :-?
Ive never caught it in the act but every once in a while i go to check my phone and its off...with a fully charged battery. firmware 2.54.
I think you have a defective battery which caused the reboot or shutdown.
Happened to me before. Nokia care checked the phone - nothing wrong. They tested to use the phone using a new battery, no more shutdown/reboot. They replaced the battery.
Re-booting happened to me a couple of times too. Last time was mid way thru a high scoring game on Tiger Woods! Gutted!
My 3650 todat reboototed too,while playing SNAKE.
I have been playing with my 3650 alot and enjoy this site. I experienced random shut downs too but this only due to software conflicts, reformat your device and only restore critical apps. I save a backup when everything is working fine that I can go back to if I install some bad prog. Peace. B.
Three people i know have nokia 3650's, none have upgraded there firmware and all of them have this problem (Although it seems to not be doing it anymore to me, thank god).
Also, it was doing this to me from the day i got it, and there was absolutley nothing installed on it, so it cant be just software issues.
has anyone actually caught the phone in the act while it was rebooting?! mine did that once, but didn't actually witness it... I remember my grandfather telling me the story of these little green goblins who came and turned off all the 3650s in the world... spooky, huh? 😃

Being in the middle of something and off it goes.. Kindda annoying *G*
Seen it too with own three eyes. I have a suspicion that it does that when it is seriously low on RAM and it can't shud down enough apps to free it up. So it is forced to shutdown the app you are working with and it may create this problem. Once again only a suspicion of a former network engineer.

The two times I experienced it, I had an app running. Switched to another and suddenly.. Off it goes. So I am with you on that one.
Good thing we don't have a DrWatson on the phone LOL. Then it would really be fun 😮

Well this is a well known thing concerning allmost the entire Nokia model range according to my local phone store. I think it's a very strange thing that Nokia don't do anything to correct this!!
I have had this problem with every singel Nokia phone (3) i have owned.
My latest Nokia (before changing to P800) the 6610 also had this problem.
I had it 'repaired' three times before I gave up..
