Hello all,

How can I download an application to my N3650 if I have no
MMC drive, Infrared or Bluestaff on my PC ?

Thanks,
Zelig0n.

Another way to send the .sis or .jar file to your phone is to send the file as an attachment via e-mail

Compose an email, attached the .sis or .jar file. Send it to your own email account (POP3) then retrieve the e-mail from the phones messaging. Make sure that you've configured the necessary items/details of your POP3 email account with your phone.

Thanks daniatt,

I did try that but it was removed by the server....unknown file...
it was the video update sis application from nokia.

crazy server 😞 - how about asking them "NOT TO" delete files that has .sis & .jar extensions?

Try jimmy-floyd suggestion or ask your friend to send the file to you as mms.

I hope you can get yourself a BT or Irda - which will make your smartphone life easier 😉

hey iv bin tryin 2 set my e-mail account but cant see 2 get it runnin
run time errors keeps cummin up.

am using yahoo.co.uk

i know that the following is correct

incoming pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
outgoing smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

what else setting is required???? i am using a 3650.

marky

To read "free" yahoo mail using a mail reader and not their web interface you need to pay them. I think it's $20 a year, which give you a larger mailbox and access to your box using readers such as Outlook or your phone.

UK accounts are free. 😊 Marky if u are still around did u get it working yet coz mine works fine. If not i will post my settings. Though they are no different to what yahoo says. Maybe it's the network u are on? I am o2.
