id hav to back up on ecomment is tht all existing phones which have radios in them do use the handsfree as antenas (obviosly which is the wire) this is exactly the same way as some old personal FM radios worked usualy ud notice better quality when headsphone are plugged in fully or even half so sound will com out of the personal radio speaker... jus a point to show that the handsfree is being used as the antena

Which implies I agree that it doesnt have the required hardware for an FM radio and I was merely pointing out the fact that the already over used battery would suffer even more.

Hi It was really brain quenching to see the fun everyone has on this topic.
:agrue: I would like to highlight that in Asia, 70-80% usrs has been suckers for FM in phone and you really see them using it on buses or walking around everyday and night. See its becos they really find it stupid to have yur ear stuck with a earpiece but nothing is heard. Trust me!!!! I'm frm Singpore. I know!!!
but with or without the FM radio, ppl will bound to just make do with whatever entertainment they have be it games or MONO MP3s. At Leasst I've learnt to live with it. :fadein: STILL would be good if FM mode was enabled via apps cos using the GPRS connection via realONE <- would COST a FREAKING big HOLe in my pockets. 😮

well it looks like there will be an option to add FM to the 6600 with that radio headset. But only if the 6600 had a Pop-port. Unfortunately does us no good so I am just rambling.

I've got a radio on my 8310 and never did actually use it much, but now I've got an FM radio on my remote for my creative zen jukebox so I don't need one on the 3650. The sound quality from the 3650 is rubbish anyway.
YES thts all good wiv all ur other gadgets but we are talking about NOKIA3650 MAN i tink the point these ppplare tryna make is tht having a fm radio would save carryin another technology unit on u !! saves hassle space weight...catch my drift lol
Well yeah good point lol but the 3650 can't do radio. Surely you can get earphones now with a radio built into them.

fm radio earphones for movies?? u can jus use normal handsfree for tht cos u aint gona get stereo sound out of the fm radio headphones even if they are stereo cos 3650 aint stereo fullstop. llol
yeah, i know that i'm not going to get stereo sound 😉
but i work as a manager in a call center, so can't have noises that can be heard by others, you see.
