I decided to wipe out my phone and start anew. Several problems that I want to cure. So I backup my files, my contacts database and calendar, settings, make a list of all the software I want to install later, do the *37370# and still have all my apps listed justn not in folders I had them before. Now I say OK, need to format memory card to wipe all that stuff out, so I go to memory, and say format my card and it does not wipe anything out, keeps all the files, any ideas?

Can your card be locked? I have an old SanDisk card that can be locked. Check that this is not the case

hi peter, hi kirill, i search the forum and i have your same problem, do you solve it? the phone says format complete, but it is'nt true!

i read in another founded post that i must format FAT with win and then format in the phone. it is possible?
