I get absolutly no reception in my house anymore, today not even any reception outside in my neighborhood, missed like 20 calls, nothin even came up saying i have voice mail. I use the phone for my business and i got fucked royalt today, i know its not the phone, its the damn service, ima have to switch back to digital service again. What really sucks is all the shit i bought for the phone off ebay is all no good no more, dont know what phone im getting next probally an old one like i had that wasn't appealing but actually worked. Get your operator to sort it out, I have phoned my operator before and they have told me exactly which transmitters are down in my area and how long they will be down for. Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure that the 3650 is a Digital GSM phone. But I can certainly sympathise with you. Here is Australia we still have massive "block holes" even in the big cities where Digital phones just don't work. Which is why most people outside the cities use CDMA Digital phones.
In my house, we have one bar of service. Thank god or else i woulda returned the phone. My parents went thru 2 gsm phones to find one that got reception. Its just the new technology. By the time the world is on a gsm network, itll probably change again.
What i do at my house i find a place where the signal is good
leave the phone there and use my bluetooth head set it works great i tried the nokia one and it was a pain in the a*s so i tryed the jabra speakfree and now i cant do with out it maybe that would be an optiopn for you here is the link.
@MrGoBLiN -- the whole world is pretty much on the GSM network. And the new technology is out there already. It's called 3G for 3rd generation. Nokia is positioning the smarphones as "2.5G"
the reception is really rubbish in my house.da best place is the bathroom and the garden!!! lol
