Hi, well I been using my phone for 3 months now and STILL I'm getting to grips with the layout! Takes me several times longer to text than it used to, though the upside is that I don't tend to text as much which is saving me money! I'm typing this on my phone now actually and using 2 hands is a bit easier, but why could they not have stuck to the traditional format? I read somewhere that Nokia were considering bringing out a fascia with a standard layout. Well I hope they do, and soon! Rant over! 😊
That keypad!
Would be intesting to see that.... considering it's pretty much impossible to put a "normal" keyapd on this phone. The acutal contacts for the buttons are in the same arrangement as the keys... so the get the keys to push the right contacts would be quite a contortion.
Yeah, I was also wondering how that would be possible given the current configuration!
Hello guys...
I noticed older phones can be customized like by changing the layout of the keypads.
Hope that there is a special housing that you can use so you can type text messages properly.
It's the phones that were designed from the get go to accept what Nokia calls a "gaming keypad". It's a special keypad that gives you a bigger directional pad, that's easier to use. It does not however change the arrangement of the keys. I still say it's rather impossible to put a "normal" 3x4 keypad on the 3650.

You have point there, sir. 😃
I like the phone. How I wish it's fixed by then. I had it repaired.
I also hope Nokia create an add-on where you can place it on top of the Nokia 3650 keypad. Cool huh?
The phone has two grooves on them(hope I mentioned the correct description or word).

How I wish my phone is fixed. I missed it alot.
Nokia can create an add-on like you can place it on top the phone. The phone has two grooves on its side.
Now there's an idea... a snap on joystick, with radially moving arms for the two buttons so you can have a 2 button joystick for GoBoy... nice one.
Nokia would get big money off a add on like that. I wish they do it, but its not going to be easy..
Yes, I wish Nokia will make one. It will be very convenient for users especially if they put games on their phones instead of actual utilities. =)
I heard there is already a camera add-on for the phone. I wish they could also create a phone protector.
The phone is very susceptible to scratches and dirt.
Guys, you can buy an LCD protector that are used for PDAs or palm.
Just cut it down until it fits the entire LCD screen. Those protectors are very thick and they will not make your LCD look dim or brownish if it is out in the sun.
