what network is best

What cola do you think is best - pepsi cola or coca cola?
I have a bottle of Virgin cola which is about to run out and I'm not sure what to get next, any ideas.

coca cola. Avoid the vanilla variety as it tastes like yaks feet.

I think you may find you got such silly answers because the question is a bit vague.
A bit like saying which cola is best...

It's personal choice and depends on your phone usage and price plans that attract you.

Personally I don't like Voda - they are control freeks, get a phone off them and they will have crippled it to force you to use their services - IE cut of the data connection from the infared port so you HAVE to send your pictures via their MMS service just to get them on your PC.
Play with the services so it automatically opens VODAFONE LIVE and keeps you surfing within their walled garden etc etc I could go on...
GPRS is a bit patchy somedays with total loss of service..

T-mobile seem pretty good - they have a lot of new services first - customer support are quite good even thou they did deny the existance of GPRS for a year 😉
GPRS can be a little slow at peek times..

I've no experience of Orange

O2 - I've heard a lot of complaints about bad customer support - but the actual mobile service seems reliable once you can actually get them to set it up for you..

So they are all much of the same - so look at their price plans and decide from there 😊

Oh - I think Voda restrict MMS to 35k instead of the 100k recommendation. Which screws you for sending high quality Images and video from a 3650

I'll add my tuppence-worth - I'm on Orange and have been for 7 years. They have their ups and downs as every network does, but in the main we've been more than happy with them. I'm afraid I can't give stats or prices, the best thing to do is look on their websites or see what deals independent sellers (like carphonewarehouse in the uk) have on offer.

u people using the phone with contract..... right... but here u can purchase
phone from any shop and get the network of your choice...... if you are using orange and not satisfied with that then choose another network of ur choice by next month... no problem.... I am using orange and satisfied with it.....

india is very different.

i mean in the UK if we buy a contract [hone then we get a small percentage off the phone.

for example the Nokia 9210 in india costs about �500, in the UK if you buy the phone with a 12 month contract then we only pay something like �199 or �299 Max.

This is why we have to stay with the company, because they have given us the phone for less.

Also India has not got to the stage where the government wants all your money and will do anything to get it. therefore the company can do what they like and the customers get a good deal aswell.

and to answer the question the guest asked i would not go for T-mobile (although im with them) they charge a lot of money for data calls even if it is a local area number. i foned today and they said 25p peak and 10p off peak. if you use the internet and check your e-mails alot then i would go for a O2 or vodafone network, if you think about it that is what the 9210 was first launched on, then after many years it came on the t-mobile.
