Where is mail "My folders" located?

10 replies · 2,660 views · Started 02 July 2003

Could not find location of files sent via bluetooth to Inbox.

So, moved inbox files to "My folders".

Cannot save files to anywhere from there...

Cannot find the files using FExplorer 1.1...

How can I find and move the files?

???

Had the same question about a week ago and still no answer, would be useful to know what really happens to those things that are in the inbox.

All "Messaging" pseudofolders are parts of the "Mail" database (directories structure) in the System directory.

Don't move anything out of this structure nor add anything here via FExplorer otherwise you break Messaging. All deletions must be done via Messaging application. You can copy files from here (not cut), though.

You can "cut" also, but then you have to delete the file from Messaging application anyway 8)

Don't threaten people Jimmy. Also don't lie - you do not have access to IP logs.

Ooooo finally someone who's got some balls. Bring it on if you you have anything left in you after that brilliant post.
hmmm, looking, but not finding any of the files in there...
But they are there. Doublecheck, browsing all Mail sub- and sub-sub-folders. If it is a file (attached to an e-mail, received via IR or BT...) you will find it in its native shape. If it is message body, you won't find it easily as it is not in text format and has an 'unfriendly' name.
