programs you never want to install

i think all of us at some point must have come accross a program we thought would make a nice addition to our symbian family but when you install it, the 8210 hits the fan and your left with a headache so as a warning to all other users ive decided to open this topic my personal pick would be:

1) WILDSKINZ -> it caused my entire system to crash and still messed up the registry after i deleted it!!

2) STACKER -> a useful program but if the wrong hands can be deadly to your other programs, one piece of advice -> restore all the stacked programs b4 you delete the entire package or nothing that was packed will work.

3) keystick -> useless.

thats my moaning done now your turns....

Well this is a 3650 not an 8210 forum but yes Wildskins makes your phone go wild for shizzle.... and Stacker.... well that's pretty much useless on the 3650 what with the MMC being used.

sdoubler completly screwed up my phone-compressed everything with it, then deleted it a few days later and all my programs wouldn't work. Has anyone else had this? And yeah, keystick is pretty pathetic

Man, of course you need it for unzipping the programs. You can't just install it and zip everything and then uninstall it, then phone won't regonize the 'zip' format anymore.

I only have had bad experience with Charlies Angels Java-game.
Installed it --> tested --> crashed --> turned phone off --> phone says can't boot --> turned phone off --> took SIM and MMC out --> turned phone on/off --> SIM and MMC back in --> phone works normally!

what i ment by this, nimrod, is that the sh*t hit the fan, but im using the 8210 as a metaphore! :evil:

I agree that Stacker and SDobuler are not much use on the 3650 but they are great apps,made my 7650 an awesome device.They don't cause any problems,the user who doesn't use them properly does.

Just FYI My girls is one of the most popular downloads on My-Symbian. Helps me to know when to keep out the way anyway...! 😉
