a joystick could do so much more

i have noticed that on the 7650, when the phone is in TELPHONE (IDLE) more, if u press the joystick u get the contacts, but y cant we program the joytick to open files or programs when clicked left or right or up or down.
its such a waste...dont u think. i'd love to be able to do more with the joystick.

i also wish we would fwd ring tones to other phones. these should be the bare min a phone like this should be able to do....come on, even the nokia 3310 can do that. how sad.

Now there's a challenge for the C++ programmers. On a related point, do people know if Nokia has a central place for recommendations for System 60 firmware updates? THis is a good candidate for such a place.
