UPGRADE FIRMWARE ADVANTAGE

i think you shouldnt upgrade now,coz 3.13 has bugs.ALSo 2.54/2.50 FW,supports 256mb MMC,just test it before buying.

Check with your service center. Currently there are no FW versions that OFFICIALLY support 256meg MMC. Supposedly 3.16 is out in some parts of Europe but since we here in Russia do not get them for some time can't give you any more info. That includes our friend Jimmy who despite all we keep telling him keeps spreading vaporware.

Like Kiril said,jimmy spreads romours(again!).v3.13 was some kind of a never released suposed to support 256MB MMC firmware.Couple of screenshots(which could be easily photoshoped) were floating arround but that is it.Usually,geting the latest firmware is the best advice anyone can give you.

To my knoledge,v 3.13 does not exist,its vapourware,romour,hoax,whatever you like.

It was a picture,that's all,willbrady even achieved to make a video of a 7650 with 16MB MMC.Its not that hard to fake it.On more reason i don't believe in the existance of v 3.13 is v 3.16.

i think there is a new one out something v3.xx

Does the MMS client change after the SW upgrade. Does he supports slideshow message now?

Romour is that there is a v 3.18 floating in some countries,like i said,a romour.Another 3.xx version i know of is v 3.15.I won't post any screenshots because i've only seen v3.15's flash file,never seen it in action.

This could all be much simpler if Nokia actually posted somewhere official FW versions for different countries. Just called the service center that I use and they still only have 2.50. Then again, like I mentioned we won't get the new FW for quite sometime here in the Russland. We can at least thank Nokia for bringing Russified phones out here pretty much the same time they come out in Europe.

I've seen it too,and like i've said i've seen pictures and videos of a 7650 with 16MB MMC 😊 It's all easily photoshoped.

I have CONFIRMED that the latest firmware in the U.S. is 3.16. I called Nokia's tech support, 2 different times, and they both said I can send my phone in for a free upgrade to 3.16.
