Internal memory and MMC

I install all my apps in the MMC and sometimes you really need to reformat the internal memory to ensure a clean state.

Is it possible to reuse the MMC without reformatting. Re-installing apps into MMC is a real pain in the a** :x

I know you can use PC Suit to backup. However the selection of phone memory AND/OR MMC does not work correctly and often screws up the reinstallation.

Always have a "last good backup" Meaning a backup with only the software that you are sure works properly with your phone. Also only install one app at a time and test for a while to make sure it works. So basically use the same precautions you would on a PC.
