Hi,

I got the Nokia Snowboarding game long time ago... I know this might sound crazy... i used to play it alot when it's still a demo version... but until now, i havent even bother to play the FULL VERSION.... why??? anybody out there got same psycho prob like me???

How bout you, Dazler???

p/s: heheheh... i guess... maybe the game was not as i expected huh??? i kinda dissapointed with the sound... and i also want that cool MUSIC as background... remember the .nim for this game???

Hello,

I don't see you your point. Okay the sound got be better, but at least it offers a variety to play and leaves you a lot space for experiments. I wish I could snowboard like this 😃
The full version is a lot of fun, I thought the demo was already convincing, but the real version is one of the better pieces of software available for the 9200 series.
If there is someone out there, who likes to correct me, feel free 😮

Regards,

Tilman

Let's see what Dazler has to say. It should be his kind of game... 8)
Wasn't he so keen on that PocketPC racing game? 😉

I loved the demo, especially the halfpipe allike thingy.
I had that same problem many times before Nosferatu 😉
Games just tend to become boring without any competition 😊
I've learned to jsut test demo's then uninstall them so I can enjoy the real version later 😊

Btw a great review of Rayman is coming up 😊

Ah, the eternal "what do I put in the demo/crippled shareware" question.

There is no right or wrong way. The original principle was you put everything in the code and left the altruistic to register. Another is limit the playing experinece by time, levels or abilities.

In my mind, the original episode of Doom is a classic example of getting the shareware concept right. You got enough of the game to fully appreciate what you got, the difficulty curve was spot on, and *damm* did it look nice. You were happy to keep that on your machine, but you didn;t eel cheated on registering (the BFG! Wow!)

Of course, you could go the 100% free route and rely on people donating to you and getting large multinationals to sponsor your new kit as well, but that's not going ot make you rich... just keep you in gadgets for the duration 8)

Have they changed the price? I'll buy it when it'll be 5 0r ten dollars!
