hahahha i think that's certainly explain the situation very well

or maybe you need more detailed explanation 😃 😃 😃

he'l probs come back with a new name or something lol shame though he posted soo much his post counters gona be down to zero if he re-registers lol
i think he'll need a new ip aswell
Oh but that's not a problem for jimmy is it. He will just enter it in his TCP/IP properties box 😃 Well that will not work for the rest of us because of the way our providers work but for jimmy it most certainly will hehe.

new IP.... on broadband u can jus restart ur modem to get new IP thts it.... and dial up jus re dial tht should give u new IP
new IP.... on broadband u can jus restart ur modem to get new IP thts it.... and dial up jus re dial tht should give u new IP
Some ISP's assign the same IP for broadband/xDSL for the same device, even if you ask for a new one.

Also, many ISP's do not assign public IP addresses, but use network address translation, and route everything through their gateways/proxies, and all addresses outside the ISP's network are shown using the same ISP's gateway/proxy IPs and not individual customer system's IPs.

And even if they assign public IPs for customers that connect, they still might use a forced proxy (at least for web traffic).

Sure, thats all true, but it's quite easy to route via a pulic proxy and be totaly 'masked'

Thou would he really bother, just to get back in here 😊
