is there anyway of keeping the irda port on. The damn thing keeps switcing off too often. I don't care if it conserves power. I want it to stay on. Also does anyone know which palm sms software works with the 3650. All the software I was previously using with other phones do not work with the 3650. I hate using the phone to send sms text. :agrue:

AFAIK The only way to keep the IR from going out is to keep an active connection. Otherwise it will wait for a connection for a bit and then go out. There might be some third party soft that lets you do this but not sure.
