Yes you can light a fart (using a match/lighter), but it is not recommended because if you get suck-back you can badly damage your lower intestine!

A fart by itself will not light a fire though... u still need matches!

Technically a fart buy can start a fire if you spark something buy your backside. As has been said it's very dangerous though. You can also tell what minerals your diet is rich in by the colour of the flame.
