Not that bad a Camera

I was walking in NY and happened to see an air show in Rockefeller center. My brother is a pilot so I figured he'd enjoy it so I made a total of 20 pictures and I'm actually impressed with the quality, Here are a couple...I think that for a little camera that you always carry on oyur phone this are decent. A friend of mine has a 1000 camera, but of course she doesn't carry it with her everywhere so she ended up using my pictures.

well it's s smaller reso than 640x480 thats for sure, i can't get images that nice on 640 480 but i never tried it on any smaller

Its on 320x240 on high picture quality.

I did not change any settings, if any change was made it might have been some other day but I'm not sure, I think it's on automatic.

What surprises me is that some of the pictures are made under a canopy and there wasn't a lot of light, but I'm thinking maybe the guys that did the lighting took things into account and used some expensive lights that don't blind the eye, but do a great job for cameras...I don't know.

I also went to the beach and made a pic of myself and emailed to friends just to get them going at work and I must say they came out nicelly, so maybe it's not a GREAT megapix camera but it is usefull.

hehe never crossed my mind changing the size of the picture, i did a little test myself, its more cripser when smaller, thanks for the tip 😃

it suprises me too coz when i'm at home taking pics with my phone, the outcome is ridiculous when viewing on my pc, even in a fully lit room, the picture is crap, but i'll make the pic smaller and do my own tests like the dude above did

Well... our beloved p800 camera when set to 320x240 on high picture quality always gave me good results not only when viewed on PC but also when printed...

I have to admit I changed down to 320 by 240 a couple of months back and the results are indeed much more satisfying. OK, so you lose out in size but the clarity more than makes up for it!
