Any programs to convert midi files to .RNG?

Hai all.....

1) Can someone tell me how to convert a midi(.mid)ringtones into .RNG
type?Is there any programs to do that?

2)Is there any diffrent infrared type between Nokia 82XX and 88XX with
Nokia 8310 or 6510?I can't send .RNG type ringtones to 8310 and
6510 by infrared but i can send it to 82XX and 88XX. :cry:

I guess what u need would be the latest version of RINGMASTER...
U CAN CONVERT FROM A SIMPLE MIDI FILE (single layer...)

You could also check out splashmobile.com. They have several downloadables for you to convert midi. Hope it helps.

i didnt needed to have an *.rng file to use as ringtone. i could use a regular *.midi file. also i tried the folowing: with a little tool called extren i changed the extension of *.midi to *.rng and the mobile also recognises that as a ringtone.
(i have a nokia 3650)
just send *.midi file your mobile. go to messages, open message, click on filename and save file on your mobile. when you go to your profiles the ringtone is added to the list.
